Huge problems historically with these ideas.
The 'god' of the old testament killed 10s of thousands of those who complained in the wilderness (his children) - just one example where he was not concerned with genetic heritage when it came to killing full blooded humans. There are plenty of others (read Jeremiah).
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32442318

God was concerned with more than just genetics, but this hardly shows that genetics didn't matter at all. He still didn't shift his plans to Gentiles, no matter how bad the Jews got. You're making a logical error here.

Too many people are completely confused about just who the true children of the Abrahamic covenant are. Abraham, his son and grandson were NOT Jews. The promises made to him and his off spring (to be as numerous as the sand of the sea) includes all 12 (13) tribes, if it applies to any.
 Quoting:

Of course they were not Jews, as the term only arose from the tribal name Judah much later. But the Bible is very clear that the genetic line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel) is the line he chose for himself. It was Israel's 12 sons who became the patriarchs of Israel, with Judah being one of them. God kept narrowing down the line from which the Messiah would come, eventually reaching Joseph and Mary.

The term "Jews" is understood by most today as referring to the whole progeny of Jacob's 12 sons, not merely the tribe of Judah. That's how I'm using it here.

But, didn't God forsake the 10 northern tribes known as the 'House of Israel' (for whom Jesus said he came)? Yes, just as he did the house of Judah. Read AMOS, Obadiah, etc. God made it clear before the Babylonian captivity that Judah was much worse than her sister and was left completely forsaken. They had violated the terms of the covenant.
 Quoting:

And he also promised a remnant to remain, because the promise he made to Abraham can never be revoked. In the NT you will find several references (Paul and James for example) to the "TWELVE tribes" and that Paul knew he was of the tribe of Benjamin. If the whole Hebrew nation were completely gone by then, there is no explanation for what Paul and James said in their time, since they spoke of that nation still being in existence.

Regardless of how many times the Hebrews were to violate the covenant, God can never do so. Paul said, "Does this mean God has forsaken his people? Absolutely not!" and he went on to explain why. Also, God himself stated that he didn't choose the Hebrews for their own qualities or quantity, but so that it would be clear that God was protecting them, since they were nothing by themselves.

Of all Israel, only a remnant, fulfilled by Jesus and his disciples/followers would inherit the the promises of the covenant.
 Quoting:

This is classic Replacement Theology, which I completely disagree with. The church is not Israel; the wild branches are not the natural branches, and there is only one Vine which is Christ. God will again turn back to Israel to finish the prophecies.

BTW... if the church gets Israel's promises, it has to also get its curses.

The point I wanted to make about the video is that it sheds light on the Old Testament which impacts many current beliefs such as the Nephilim and why other nations hate Israel.

Modern Israelis are NOT Israelites. They are Talmudists and the greatest enemy of Christians and have NO genetic relationship to the tribes of Judah,Benjamin or Levy (Cohen).

The closest genetic links to the descendants of Abraham that can be found are the Palastinians. Read Prof. Schlomo Sand (tenured Prof. at U. of Tel Aviv) Invention of the Jewish People. Or just try doing some serious research.
 Quoting:

You make assertions here that are highly disputable. And don't presume that because I disagree with you that I haven't done serious research. Why don't you try impressing Dr. Heiser with your superior knowledge?
