I enjoyed this video a lot and it rings of truth for me. It will help me understand the Old Testament from a new found perspective. I have had a hard time with the O.T.
I have been trying to make sure I am on the right path since this NDE and new found Spiritual Awakening.

To me, being spiritually awake means knowing the truth. And Jesus IS the truth. A wise person has said, "start with Jesus"; that is, start your path with knowing Him and all that is true about him, then move farther and farther out with your anchor set.

The Bible's overarching message is the creation of man, the fall of man, the redemption of man, and the restoration of man. God doesn't expect us to understand it all, but simply to do our best.

Lol! Yes I have seen that movie. I always refer to him as Trix - Go away silly rabbit! (As in the cereal commercial). I finally just blocked him.
It's like- if your not interested in spiritual matters just kindly move along to something that interests you. But with this guy- he lives to irritate! And he does it well. I was so happy to see him get put in his place!

It seems I was right about fractals, but as my post was for the more intelligent reader, I fully understand that you were not clever enough to understand it.
I understand your fear of intelligence. When the only thing you have to hold onto is an ancient religion, of course intelligent people are going to scare you. I t must be awful to say I was wrong about fractals and then be shown to be a fool by more intelligent posters. You lash out in ignorance and rage like the dim-witted child in the school playground. You lashed out at what you didn’t have the mental capacity to comprehend. I understand this and forgive you.

You seem to be watching your posts almost 24 hours a day (are you an EBT recipient?) and are obsessed with constantly reporting other posters that don’t agree with your ideas. Your only comfort in life seems to be watching your threads and trying to obtain as much ‘green karma’ as you can. I understand this and forgive you.

You come across as a violent and lost person. It must be very dark in your empty little world. If your ‘God’ does exist I’m pretty sure He turned His back on you long ago. The disappointment He must feel as He reads your sad little replies must make Him weep for you. I, like Jesus, understand this, and forgive you.

I hope this post pushes your thread up to the top of the board, so you can gain a small crumb of comfort from this. Maybe you should, like Gollum, report this post as abusive, and obtain some more ‘precious’ green karma.

Does he think 'ADAM' means humankind? Adam is the name of a person. Just as his sons were named 'Cain, Abel, Seth'. When ever Adam & his bloodline is mentioned in the Bible they are always referred to as always being 'Wicked'.

'Adam' literally means 'red' and comes from the color of the dirt there. At first, it really did only mean 'human'. Later, after Eve was made, the text refers to Adam as the male. Since Dr. Heiser is an expert in Hebrew, I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about.

ADDED: He says there that the view that "the sons of God" are the line of Cain would mean that Cain = 'adamah', and if you plug that into the verse it makes no sense. The audio and video are poor quality so it's easy to miss.
