Not to mention it's a usual negotiating tactic among Persians to make you think you have a deal then back out at the last minute... You must remember, all Iran has to do is stall for time... Once they have the capacity, it's a whole different ball game, and they've seen how North Korea has been handled with kid gloves since they attained the ability to make nukes. They were ready to accept the prior deal, but then the french and israel threw a shit storm. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 49844571 United States 11/12/2013 01:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday that the U.S. and its allies had agreed on the tenets of an deal on Iran's nuclear program, only for the Iranians to say they were unable to accept the proposal. Quoting: Gypsy Priest Kerry spoke in Abu Dhabi, where he was holding a news conference with United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahayan. "[We were] unified on Saturday when we presented a proposal to the Iranians," Kerry said, "and the French signed off on it, we signed off on it, and everybody agreed it was a fair proposal. There was unity, but Iran couldn't take it at that particular moment, they weren't able to accept that particular thing.'' However, Iran did agree on Monday to allow expanded U.N. monitoring at the country's nuclear sites, including at a new reactor, state TV reported, in a deal that could boost the wider negotiations over Tehran's atomic program. The so-called "roadmap" described by Iran's state TV would give the inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency access to a key uranium mine and the site of a planned heavy water reactor, which uses a different type of coolant than regular water and produces a greater amount of plutonium byproduct than conventional reactors. Broader negotiations between the U.S., Iran, the other four permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (Great Britain, France, Russia, and China), and Germany ended Saturday in Geneva without a deal being struck, though negotiations are scheduled to resume November 20. In the aftermath of the negotiations, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius was heard telling a French radio station that his country would not be party to a "con game." That statement led to reports that Fabius had torpedoed the deal by raising concerns that it had been too lenient toward Iran. Kerry's statement Monday constitutes the first denial that there were divisions among the negotiating allies in Geneva. Kerry also said that that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's rejection of a deal to limit Iran's nuclear ambitions was premature. "The time to oppose it is when you see what it is, not to oppose the effort to find out what is possible," Kerry said. Netanyahu has repeatedly criticized what he considers readiness by the six powers involved in the talks to be too generous to Iran and has aggressively campaigned against an agreement. Better still, the US, Russia, Britian, France, Pakistan, North Korea, South Africa, and the other nuclear powers could agree not to make any more nuclear weapons, and to destroy the ones they have. |

Quoting: DawaSatso Every country in the middle east has this right including Iran..who by the way invite inspections of all development sites, anytime, anywhere. And yet this full cooperation is ignored as yammering goes on. You can't do anything with accusers who ignore factual evidence and cooperation which refutes evidence however clearly and properly presented. Netanyahu is a raging lunatic whose country by the way has never once permitted a single inspection by the IAEA for their 200-400 nuclear WEAPONS. Always the loudest most irrational moran who gets the press. |

Imagine if Iran's foreign policy was similar to the west's HA they would be wiped of the map in a heart beat. I too had hatred towards Iran and what they stood for. Right up to the moment I found out what they stood for and believed. Now I have stopped imposing my will on others. For as a nation has no right to, neither do I. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 49849428 United Kingdom 11/12/2013 04:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You live on a street. EVERYONE else has automatic machine guns EXCEPT you. They threaten you every day, each day wondering when the day will be when they act on their threats or "accidents" happen. A very close neighbour particularly hates you and manipulates your other neighbours to hate you even more. They also try at every opportunity to stop you from buying a gun of your own, shooing you away from the gun store every time you get there. One day you realise you have the materials to make a gun in your own home. You don't plan to use it, but just the very defence of it will give you peace and stop the bullies rattling at your windows from...well, y'know. Is there ANYONE here that would not build that gun. ANYONE? No, didn't think so. I don't approve of any country having nukes. I also see the complete lunacy of a country stopping others from making nukes when they themselves have them and ACTUALLY have used them. They have no right other than their own self-imposed rights over others. |

I fear that without US bunker busters and KC refueling tankers an IAF strike on Iran would not have much of an impact and would certainly not stop its nuclear program not to mention that Israel would have to fight a war back home too, with Hamas and Hezbollah ! |

All it will take is a rumor and then a Russian refusal to acknowledge that the rumors are true or false. If Hillary is seen as the ENEMY of RUSSIA, Hillary the Harbringer of Global Nuclear Destruction then she might lose in 2016. Maybe. Its probably the only shot we have at saving America from the Clintons. We need some new Iranian hostages! Jimmy Carter was unable to resolve the Iranian Hostage situation but the Hostages were released a few hours after President Ronald Reagan delivered his inaugural address. |
