Crack is a hell of a drug... from what I hear, when you crash, you crash HARD and sleep about anywhere. Like on a subway.

At some point, the nice gentleman had to get off at his stop. Wonder what happened, then?

I would like to know how this came about?

Has ANYONE ever seen this happen before (apart from mainstream hollywood films of course)??

All I can say is...

If the Main Stream Jew Media is capitalizing on this so-called "Picture Sensation"...

It is likely just more Jew Fraud...

From the Talmud Book of Jewish Law...

Schabouth Hag. 6d:
"The Jew may swear falsely by use of subterfuge wording."

Hilkkoth Akum. X1:
"Show no mercy to the [G*yim] (non Jew)".

Re: The Sleeping Stranger Subway Picture Sensation
I've seen that happen many, many times over the years on the subway. I've also had it happen to me a few times. Most people start jiggling their shoulder and the person wakes up. Then usually falls asleep again and it's back down on the shoulder. Then the person with the shoulder usually gets up, and the sleeping one starts to fall over. Since it's a real creepy feeling to have a stranger's head on my shoulder, I'v either done the shoulder shake or patted them on their arm to wake them.

The following comment from the comment section of OP's link happened to me. Except it was the NY Times, not Architectural Digest.

"I thought this story was so sweet, but now I have to ruin it with my most memorable subway story. I was on the uptown 1 train in NYC, going home at rush hour. There was a man standing there, reading (I will never forget this) Architectural Digest, with his WANG HANGING OUT OF HIS PANTS. Full glory for all to see. Needless to say, I started walking home after work after that."

I have to add it depends on who it is. If it looks like a thug, I would get up and stand. No way would I pat a sleeping thug on the arm.

Mike Braff had the presence of mind to take a photo on his smartphone.

Braff asked the older man if he wanted the sleeping subway rider moved off of him, and he declined.

"I let him sleep. I've been there, done that," Theil said. "The guy's exhausted. He's put in a long day and I said, let him sleep."

My impression is that he looks uncomfortable and nervous.

As far as the man saying the sleeper is exhausted, he put in a long day, I can't imagine how he could possibly know that.

The man wasn't seeking any reward & wasn't concerned with how the situation would benefit him. His only interest was the well-being of this stranger seated next to him.

His act of kindness is overwhelming because, it confirms that many of us do care. And we're not all that busy with our own lives to be able to do a nice deed for someone we've never met before.
