'60 Minutes' issues apology for 'mistake' in Benghazi reporting!
CBS correspondent Lara Logan issued an apology Friday morning, admitting that she and the network had made a “mistake” in its coverage of the deadly Benghazi terrorist attacks.

“We were wrong to put him on air,” she said Friday. “We will apologize to our viewers and we will correct the record on our broadcast on Sunday night.”

Late Thursday, “60 Minutes” announced it was reviewing the credibility of a purported Western eyewitness to the deadly Benghazi terror attacks who gave a harrowing description of events and claimed Americans knew such an incident was inevitable.

"'60 Minutes' has learned of new information that undercuts the account told to us by Morgan Jones of his actions on the night of the attack on the Benghazi compound,” the network said. “We are currently looking into this serious matter to determine if he misled us, and if so, we will make a correction.”

CBS gave no further details but details of his account had been challenged. The Washington Post said he had given a different account of his experiences to his employer after the attack.

Oh, let me guess who challenged his account! The White House? LOL. Unless 60 minutes comes out and says who challenged his account and why they are challenging it, I wouldn't believe a word of it. That guy put his rep on the line, let the accusers put theirs on the line.

Cruz legislation offers $5M reward in Benghazi case

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz introduced a bill Thursday to offer a $5 million reward for information on the Benghazi terror attack or information leading to the capture of a suspect.

Fourteen months following the brutal assault on the U.S. consulate, the families of the four murdered Americans are still no closer to the truth about what happened to their loved ones.

Since the attack took place, no one has been arrested, fired or held accountable.

They have done this before to 60 minutes (re: G W Bush National Guard scandal.)

60 minutes will do a story on a major gov. scandal, but then a mole or some false documentation is passed on to the journalist at the last minute. Even though the reporting is 90% accurate, they manage to discredit the whole story.

I didn't watch the Bengazi story, but it seems the same tactic was used here.
