 I remember watching that video several times. What do you think of it? It looks pretty straightforward but I don't see why they would have a runner detonate the explosion rather than a merc in the crowd. Any thoughts? I honestly don't have an answer. Maybe there was a very short range on the trigger and they didn't want hit by any of the blast.
