I hate all incumbents just about now. I gave up on the Two Party system awhile ago. I just don't want anyone getting too comfortable with all the money and playing god - as they have started to do.

They can tell me what to eat, what doctor to go to, what vitamins and herbs I can take, what I can build on my land, what kind of milk I can buy, what banks can lend me a mortgage, where my kids can go to school, yada, yada, yada - add your own below. I'm tired of thinking about it.

The thing is they can tell me whether I can get a surgery or a pill or when I can drop dead instead. I wish the reverse was true.

"A new broom sweeps clean" we learned in business school.

Time for some housecleaning at the voting booths.

No offices up for grabs in our local election, just county measures.

Cops want more money, and a proposed property tax increase.
Every year they try, and every year we say "no".

Problem is, the county usually increases property tax other ways, by commissioners voting amongst themselves for it. Then they get replaced, and the replacements doing the same thing.

The County level is where all the action is regarding Agenda 21.
They can negate all local zoning laws!!!

Vote for someone strong and that will defend LOCAL CONTROL!

At the local level, I think voting works.

That's why the local cops are so pissed off (they want to increase their budget from $21M to $25M, in a county of about 50k population, mostly rural) They keep getting told "no" to their insane appetite for money.

The county commissioners have to go around the will of the voters by finding loopholes to increase property taxes.

If the voting was rigged at the local level, the cops and county government would have their money.

It might not be the same everywhere, but that's the story from here.
