Rude behavior in "ask me a question" threads!
WTF is wrong with you people? I've seen many promising "ask me a question" threads and they almost always get derailed by impatient and immature whiners, who expect immediate answers to their vague one-liner questions.

Jesus fucking christ, people! If someone starts such a thread, why do you expect that him/her will be answering your questions in real time and with no regard for timezones. It's always the same thing. Once you get a couple of pages without an answer, you start screaming about the OP "bailing out", "trolling" or "being an ass".

I started one "ask me a question" thread with full intention of answering the questions, but when I came back the next day and saw pages full of wankers whining about my "disappearance" I totally lost all interest in the thread. Fuck you you impatient ingrates. I'm not going to waste my time on satisfying your immature need for immediate gratification.

WTF is wrong with you? Is this how you act in real life, too? If you don't get what you want at once, you'll throw a temper tantrum and insult the OP?

These days most people expect immediate gratification - especially the young who have been brought up to believe they are exceptional and can/should get whatever they want straight away. Deferred gratification is a totally alien concept to these people.

That is a terrifying thought, and makes me wish I was much older. I'm not old enough to escape the aftermath of these kids becoming adults..
