A few weeks ago we had the gosh darn smell of garlic aroma all around our area, few days later we have all come down with this upper respiratory crud. Mine seems to be more of a borderline bronchitis, about gasping for breath in the morning.I have to sip hot black coffee to clear chest, similar to asthma attack, and I don't have asthma.Choking on my own fluids if I lay down,ya know the "drowning" feeling. My hubby is more sinus issue, but he is on the road more than he is home.I don't think he has been affected as bad. Our dogs and kitten have red eyes, sneezing, kennel cough kind of thing going on,occasional vomiting. I have seen this before, but not something I want to have to ever deal with.I would highly suggest kelp if you can't get anything else,at this point. As a nurse,I don't think it's standard ragweed/allergies,nor mold issues.Although I'm sure that is complicating the matter. I think our FUKU stream is having a bit more help in some areas. My guess is cdc is quite aware of this, and will soon be reacting accordingly. Best wishes to everyone. |

The thing that worries me the most is the antibiotic issue. Docs do not want to give them anymore, and I understand the reasoning behind that. Yet what are we going to do without them? The only thing we can do is turn to the herb and holistic world. These things do not treat symptoms...they actually go to the heart of the problem. Stay hydrated. Add sea salt and vitamin c powdee to drinking water. It keeps histamine down. Carry Salt-sea salt is best but fast food salt packets are convenient.. Put salt on your tongue to stop a reaction. Sea salt and baning soda in water will work as well. Someone said put coconut oil in your nose. Netii pot is your friend. So is Clorox. It's not "green" bit its inexpensive and it works. Allergies are natures way to make you clean and streamline your house and life. You really notice the difference. |

I've never seen him have any allergies until this past week. I took him to the vet and she said this past two weeks is the worst outbreak of allergies she's ever seen for pets. Im in north Alabama. Is anyone else having this situation? Quoting: OVRANALYZE My allergy situation makes no sense. I cam never determine when it will hit, what makes it hit, and how long it will last. What is absolutely incredible though is what happens to me when I do get an attack. For some reason, it affects only 1 of my eyes at a time. Generally the left eye is usually the victim. The eye tears non stop for hours and even days. God forbid I rub the eye, it is over. My eye will swell shut and be problematic for days on end. So it would seem logical to say "We;;, maybe there is just something wrong with your left eye". That does nothing to explain how on other days the exact same thing can happen to my right eye while leaving my left eye totally normal. Question everything..... While still believing in the overall good of humanity! |

I shared this in another thread so I will share it here in case it helps someone. Yes, the doctors are starting to not give out antibiotics as often as they used to. So what to do? I have found that garlic (fresh cut, raw only, not cooked) and wild oil of oregano packs a powerful antibiotic punch together. I encourage anyone to research their natural antibiotic properties if you haven't, and you'll see why they are potent. Oregano oil with 75% or higher carvacrol is as potent as vancomycin when studied. Garlic is as potent as penicillin. I found out by accident how well these two things work as antibiotics. I was trapped in my house during a blizzard last winter and could not drive into town to see a dentist when my tooth abscessed. I had a fever and the most hellish pain ever. I remembered that I had a bottle of oil of oregano, and thought I'd give it a try. I also keep garlic and remembered what I had read about it, so I combined my treatment with both. Here's what I did. I chopped up 2 cloves of garlic, crushed it, let it sit for 5-10 min to let it release allicin. I took this and 3 drops (not dropperfuls) of oil of oregano every two hours. I kept this up until the pain reduced, and it did, greatly. By day three my infection was completely gone, pain gone. This got me through until I saw the dentist. When I caught strep, I did the same routine and it killed it in a matter of two days. Another option is fish antibiotics. If they are made by by a laboratory here in the U.S. I will use that. I will not speak much of it here on the forum because FDA will more than likely go after it. |
