Gulf-Americans: What's Going On With the Gulf of Mexico These Days? How Safe is it to Swim, Eat, Breathe in Bordering States?

I haven't been hearing much about the GOM and the Gulf states for a while since the BP holocaust, so I'm wondering how things are in all these states - Florida, LA, MS, etc. Can you use the beaches? Are you glowing in the dark yet? Respiratory or skin problems still? Can you eat any seafood or fish coming out of the Gulf? How's the drinking water?

The government is full of shit, as are most of the corporations, of course, and I don't know if we can trust any of the scientists or foundations or universities as they are frequently government or corporate funded, and therefore, captive (like the media). All the institutions have been corrupted and are untrustworthy.

So I want to hear what private citizens have to say, as they are the ONLY ONES LEFT WITH CREDIBILITY. How goes it with you, Gulf-Americans????
