Right, avoid that! I worry if you go to the east coast, because if it goes right over the state there will be widespread flooding on both coasts and everywhere in between. That's what Ryan Hall was saying in his video yesterday.

I admit I'm not up to speed on this storm at all today, so ignore this if the storm track has changed significantly.

Thread: Tracking Cat 2 Hurricane Ian! Latest GFS has it directly hitting Tampa! Dropsonde finds 966 hpa air pressure! created 5 days ago .I wasn't sure if this will escalate that fast.I would appreciate help in managing this thread.I'm taking day off my work just to cover this hurricane on Wednesday

Not only Ian is rapidly strenghtening .Also possibly Noru hitting Vietnam as cat 4-5 Super Typhoon :(
