I have a small bit of (probably obvious) intel on the car shortages. The finance guy at Toyota today said that it's going to be much worse in August. So if you're thinking about getting a new or used vehicle, act quickly.

I talked to our mailman yesterday. How we got on the subject, I'm not sure, but he told me a friend of his took his car in. It needs a computer part and the shop told him it'll be at least 2 years before they can get the part. I guess our old Dodge Nitro is going to sit for a long time. I hate that, I LOVE that truck!!

Hi DC! Good to see you my friend. Yes, they definitely grow up too fast. She's not far from where that condo collapsed. :\

My camera is a little dusty. I used it for her graduation at the beginning of the month for the first time in a long time, and haven't used it again since. I did want to take pics of the moon last night, but my view wouldn't have worked until very late and I had to go to bed before then.

Ride a damn bike

I had to check lol...it would take me 1 hour and 40 minutes to ride a bike to work. Each way!

Oof, that's a lot. It'd take me 42 mins, not too shabby. But I'd be a sweaty mess every day.

That's what I said! I asked him what are we supposed to do about dead vehicles just sitting in the drive? He just shrugged and said his friend is doing that too. We rent so I don't know how long we can leave it sit. Not gonna ask!

Ours all seem to stay fairly stocked, but I know most of them are getting vehicles from auctions far from here. We got lucky a few months ago and found a Jeep that was almost brand new with only 7000 miles on it. We payed almost new price for it though. No deals around here, even with cash.

I was thinking that too lol!
