verysad I don't understand this OP. In this day and age...who still collects ivory? What kind of cold, heartless person would view a piece of ivory as more valuable than an elephant's life? So sad for all the animals who died out of greed.

Poachers should be made to drink the poisoned water...

The worst part about this is, the animals do NOT have to be killed for them to cut off the tusks...

Although, why they can't just leave them alone in the first place, is beyond me..

One day, when they have killed them all, what will they do?
Idiots..not smart enough to realize they are killing their livelihood, literally.

verysad

This is deeply upsetting.

I want to say what I'd like to do to those poachers but I don't want to get banned.

Most African governments have game wardens now , they patrol looking for men with guns whereas a sufficient amount of cyanide or arsenic can be carried inconspicuously.
Sad as it is, if Africa wants to get serious about saving elephants, they will have to proactively tranquilize the animals and remove the tusks before they reach a commercially attractive size.
