there was also a mention of an alleged convoy from hazleton pa enroute to dc....i loaded the live i81 south cams - not one caravan or convoy

Of course nothing happened. You could add 10,000 extra vehicles to the beltway in the afternoon and no one would notice a difference. The damn thing is regularly a crawl in the afternoon as it is. I doubt many people can tell the difference between moving 5mph and 3mph.

I was clicking on the 2000 + cams. Most of them were "updating video feed". The feeds you did see, showed traffic moving along. Yet, there was %100 more truckers then usual, most had no trailer hitched. Problem is the webcams don't show the speed of traffic. The site I was at showed MPH for each intersection and main highway areas, none. I MEAN NONE!! went over 40mph. Tomorrow they will bring it down to 20MPH.
