Gov't shutdown stops loan processing. Housing Market will grind to a stop.
Lenders are unable to verify borrowers earning history.
Some banks are not even making loans, others are accepting old tax returns.

A couple who made an offer on my house told me their bank was unable
to verify their income due to the Gov't shutdown,
and therefore could not secure the financing their offer was contingent upon.
