was a powerful eruption for sure.

This is a good indicator on how strong the eruption was. So far it is under a minor radiation storm, but creeping up.

FYI in Egypt our OSN satelite channels are having a lot of disruptions and today was a message from OSN on tv between movies saying that there will be outages because of sun eruptions and it will last a few days for a few minutes and it's a natural occurence I missed the anuncement from the beginning but that's what they said. Its very annoying that some channels don't work right, pixel pictures or in between it goes off saying "no signal". IT said a date sometime in October (I think October 5th) I missed it, if it comes on again I will post more details. Been going on for the last few days. But seems it will reach a peak sometime this week beginning October.

Does anyone else have this problem?

That doesn't look like a glancing blow to me. That looks more like a direct hit to me, given I am not well versed in these things but looking at the projections it looks to hit dead on.

Am I wrong?
