Anonymous Coward User ID: 75336464 Germany 03/30/2020 07:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Never started any type of thread here but thought an odd incident in Tucson, AZ this afternoon - a power outage that TEP could not explain - might warrant a discussion. Quoting: thepatrioticgirl Today was a beautiful sunny day in Tucson, not a cloud in the sky, no humidity, reasonable temps.I live in an area known as The Foothills in an apartment at a 600-unit complex at the base of the Catalina Mountains. The area, as a whole, is very affluent and upscale with a population of about 50,000. Today, just before 5:00pm, the power goes out. Now, I've lived up here about 20 years and in this particular apt complex for the last eleven years and my electricity is included in the rent. During the 20 years I've lived here and even during the heavy monsoon season, maybe we've had an outage six or seven times - so it's highly unusual. And, when it has gone out, it goes out just for a few minutes and for the entire area and this includes traffic lights. During those times, the sheriffs have been on the scene instantly to direct traffic because there's a busy four corner traffic light just outside my complex. So, power goes out and the first thing I do is check the cell phones to make sure they work - and they do, thank God. (You know what I was thinking.) But a half hour goes by and nothing. I decide to drive to CVS which is right next to a huge Safeway market. First thing I notice as I pull out of the complex is that all the traffic lights are working. Weird. Then, at the CVS, it appears that the power had just gone back on but not, as I find out minutes later, at the Safeway which is just 50 feet away next door in the same parking lot. I then find out that Safeway kicked everyone out as soon as the power went down and locked the doors because registers were down (not a good sign of what's to come, know what I mean?). And the girl at CVS had told me that the traffic lights at the four corners had never gone out and it was rush hour as usual the whole time. No cops come. No nothing. I also hear from two people who live in the complex across the street from me that as soon as the power went out, their smoke alarms went off for no reason and they had to smash them with hammers to shut them off!! WTF???? But what I DO notice as I'm standing in the parking lot chatting with strangers is that every single person is commenting and agreeing (without elaborating) on the "wierdness" of it all and how suspicious the whole thing seemed. Nobody was being casual about it at all which I took to mean that, well, everyone was thinking what I was thinking which means maybe everyone is waking up. Anyway, here's the kicker....about ten minutes after I get back, the power goes back on. I get on the internet to look at the City of Tucson site that usually puts up outage info/emergency stuff instantly and nothing there. So, I call Tucson Electric Power. TEP has always been helpful in giving information/answers in the past. When someone finally picks up, she asks if I'm calling about the outage on the south side of town (about 20 miles from me) and, if I am, she says she has no answer as to why it happened. She's very friendly and helpful but is surprised at where I tell her my outage was because she sees nothing on her end for my area at all - like it didn't even happen. Then, right before we hang up, she sees something come up on her screen that shows my outage (802 customers, she said) restored but that it oddly gives no explanation again (same as the other area) and she's never seen that before. Moreover, she can't get into other areas of her program where she could possibly access more information which she finds strange as well. She's very apologetic that she can't even tell me why it happened. Sorry for the long-winded story but, I don't know....things are becoming so bizarre and threatening and with what we all know to be true, I have no choice but to question the whole damn thing. Am I making a big deal out of nothing? Somehow I just don't think so. In my mind, I'm thinking...a glitch in the Matrix? OR, even worse, a fucking DRILL? No explanation at all? TEP Customer Service barely knew it happened and couldn't access the information! Opinions, anyone? What do you think? You might want to consider moving out of your apartment and getting a house instead. Just look at this very destructive and deadly apartment fire caused by lightning. Not only was almost the entire apartment complex completely destroyed but several people were killed and several more seriously injured. Wouldn't want that to happen to you now would you? Unless maybe you're suicidal. But even then I could think of many better and less painful ways to go than burning to death. Bottom line: avoid apartment complexes like the plague. Here's another deadly apartment complex fire caused by lightning. people who live in apartments are fucking scum no big loss there in fact those lightning bolts did a lot of good taking out those loser lowlifes |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58161346 We did the exact same thing around that time in south Orange Co. Had put down a deposit on a brand new home, under 200k. Hubs would be deployed (1st time) for closing & moving, I was 23y/o and had been listening to all the folks there who got hosed in the crash. Requested deposit return, real estate agent literally called us stupid. Had friends who bought in same neighborhood- sold for 360+ two years after purchase. Painful, though valuable lesson learned. |

Well, Crescent City is in Del Norte county, not Humboldt, and yeah it's not exactly As for Humboldt, I think Ferndale is nice. It's pretty much the definition of quaint and has a main street all lined with historic buildings. Super adorable when it's all decked out for Xmas. [link to m.facebook.com (secure)] Other than that, eh... the towns may not be that great, but it's worth a visit if you enjoy nature. I've seen a lot of forests and I think none can beat the redwood forests here, they're truly awe inspiring, just gotta watch out for slugs and bigfoot droppings. Beautiful beaches too, even though you can't swim there. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58161346 You know that dumb movie where you've got all the time you're going to live on your wrist and you use it to buy stuff? When the protagonists steal a bunch of money and redistribute it the prices just go up. Dumb movie but has some funny ideas. In this case we're not getting wealth redistributed, we're only getting it taken, you only have enough to survive and buy some dumb stuff to fool your mind into thinking you have some freedom. If you're born into a framework where everyone works within it and doesn't question, you just follow like everyone else. Rich squeeze the poor cause they're addicted to money/power like they've always been. Capital based society leads to its own demise by becoming efficient, you're just becoming useless to the money machine and are receiving less because you're not taking part in the main game. Anonymous Coward User ID: 72815512 Germany 04/10/2020 05:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wrong. Blonde hair and blue eyes are a mild form of ALBINISM. Which is what happens when the body doesn't produce enough melanin to protect itself. Eye color isn't "clustered" or "cosmic" or any such nonsense. The most common human eye color is BROWN because that's the color of melanin, which is NECESSARY TO PROTECT YOUR EYES FROM UV RAYS. Same for skin and hair. N'egroes have blonde hair also occasionally, but from a completely different gene that Euros don't have. You can take your aggressive, racist redefinition of words in order to serve your selfish agenda and shove it down your fat fucking face you stupid liar! That is NOT what racism is. Racism is collective economic and political suppression of a race of people, it is GENOCIDE basically. You stupid lying snowflake ASSHOLES are trying to DECEIVE everyone by pretending that "racism" and "prejudice" mean the same thing, so that you can prevent people from calling you out on your past behavior ("Everyone is racist! Stop being racist!"), while at the same time attack POC with their own charge against you like you're doing here. Which proves that you're a race of SELFISH LIARS AND DECIEVERS who pretend just long enough to trick others so you can manipulate them and take advantage of them. You are all TOXIC! |

Just check a public color photo from the 1940s and today. Note the massive increase in blonde females. Its due to the rise of arts-entertainmet.... hollywood, fashion, playboy, porn. The era of the blue-eyed blonde bimbo & slut. You can tell a woman is a natural blue-eyed blonde, by the shape of her face, features and head. Its a Nordic trait, and spread by diffusion from Northern Europe. |

Many of the gang bangers are up there from LA so that they can talk to the imprisoned gang leaders and disseminate orders back to gangland LA. Anonymous Coward User ID: 76861542 France 04/11/2020 02:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Never started any type of thread here but thought an odd incident in Tucson, AZ this afternoon - a power outage that TEP could not explain - might warrant a discussion. "The Naked Blonde" Two bored, male casino dealers are waiting at the craps table. A very attractive blonde woman arrived and bet $20,000.00 on a single roll of the, dice. She said, "I hope you don?t mind, but I feel much luckier when I?m completely nude." With that she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!" As the dice came to a stop she jumped up and down and squealed, "YES! YES! I WON, I WON!" She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded. Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?" The other answered, "I don?t know - I thought you were watching." |
