The theory of Panspermia assumed it came from another planet. But what if microbial life actually formed in the comet itself? instead of arriving from another planet "Yersinia pestis is the causative agent responsible for at least three major human pandemics: the Justinian plague (6th to 8th centuries), the Black Death (14th to 19th centuries) and modern plague (21st century). The keys to unlocking this mystery may include the fact that these microbes are anaerobic (Brown et al., 2006), resistant to freezing" If the mix of gases in a comet created the first microbial life and its journey near a sun heating this supersonic concoction is the solution to where life actually began. Is this possibly the origin of life? This thread is not linking plague and comet doom, I was just using an example of an anaerobic - resistant to freezing microbe.
