Mt. Rainier - The Giant ends his sleep
I started a thread as an AC
Thread: Grandfather will answer

When I posted the links for Camp Muir everything was available, now I returned to save the pictures and find almost every data from the Camp Muir Station has disappeared!!

It showed signs of harmonic tremor slowly increasing over the weeks.

You can still get Camp Shurman

Look at when they stopped reporting Earthquakes

Around the date we got the Yellowstone Quakes/Activity
Thread: Yellowstone Sept 13 showing unrest

You can believe me or not that this data was there, but I think that they are possibly preparing for the Eruption of Mount Rainier and it´s going to be massive and wind will probably blow from the east/northeast, carrying the ash inland.

I just pulled raw seismic data for the last three days at Rainier and checked. No tremor, no nothing, other than usual. Apparently PNSN is having trouble with some part of their telemetry. Never assume doom. Ask a question instead, and I will help answer truthfully if I can. In this case I could, so I did.

doom cancelled.

Where will you be when earth explodes?!
"The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title."

Re: Mt. Rainier - The Giant ends his sleep
I can confirm that the data is intact, because while I had pulled data from station RCS and it showed nothing, I just additionally pulled RCM's data. It's there. I don't know why PNSN can't access it and/or display it. I see what looks like to be tremor in several places, but it is wind or other noise- seeing as I ran it through a spectrograph. The seismic components are not there. And no, I will not provide you with the last three weeks of data, although I could. Now if you want me to look up a specific signature on a specific day, I might.

Re: Mt. Rainier - The Giant ends his sleep
Sorry, not trying to be rude or anything, and I'm no expert either. But I been at this a while. And just to prove to you that the data does exist and is intact, look here, and you can see the webicorder data for RCM for today:

[link to www.iris.edu]

And you can look up whatever day you want to. Learn to use the Bud Explorer, people's. Also, for the future, you could have deduced that signature was not tremor by just doing the same and pulling data from nearby stations like RCS or STAR- and seeing that it does not show up there. Tremor at Rainier would definitely light up most, if not all, of those stations with a similar signature. Ok, the end, I'm out. Hope that was helpful.

Off topic, but despite the shutdown, the Mt. St. Helen's Volcano Cam seems to be still steaming.

Actually the winds usually blow W, SW, carrying the ash inland. It's the mud flows that can create devastion locally regardless of wind direction. Mt Baker is no cream puff either.

"Size and frequency of lahars: During the past several thousand years large lahars have reached the Puget Sound lowland on average at least once every 500 to 1,000 years. Smaller flows not extending as far as the lowland occurred more frequently. If future large lahars happen at rates similar to those of the past, there is roughly a 1-in-10 chance of a lahar reaching the Puget Sound lowland during an average human lifespan."

i was up on camp miur a few weeks ago, I didn't feel any tremors or excitement :(

I dream sometimes that I'm up there when it decides to go off. I can't think of a more beautiful way to go. :)

On Nov. 3, 2013, the sun will be eclipsed by the moon with Saturn conjunct in Scorpio. On the back side of the earth, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune form a V-Shape.

Should Mt Vesuvius erupts on this day, the beginning of the earth changes will begin within 3 months.

Word. Actually it's like at least 1/3 of the U.S. Where you gonna run to? Having said that, I'd "like" to think that with a little lead time, I could somehow bug out to south america. Probably not feasible, but it's all I have

damned

Peace.
