Anonymous Coward User ID: 46315852 Mexico 09/13/2013 08:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Whats this a teachers protest? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46368026 My spanish isnt good, i do try to understand but fail. keep us updated hombre Educational reform. The President says it will raise public education system quality standards (that currently are very low) by assessing teachers, but some teachers are asking, who is going to assess us? Some of they say that their jobs would be at risk because of a single test, and also protest because, to begin with, many schools are in a saddening condition. On the other hand, the other Mexican user is right. They have been making some serious noise in the capital, whose people is somewhat used to permanent protests (as this is the country of everlasting injustice) but this one kind of went too far. Some people is also against teachers because they think they've got too many privileges, that your common 9 to 5 employee won't dream to have. The President has also proposed controversial reforms on energy, labour and taxing issues, so the background situation is tense. |
