I just saw a really bright red light that was down and to the right of the moon and now directly below the moon (not directly below, but between the moon and the tree tops in my neighbors yard) there's a "star" that just appeared and it is flashing red every few minutes? Anyone? I'm going back out to check it out right now!

Ok, I should have known better, but I figured out the "red" flashing star below the moon is Antares and it does "flash" red, but the thing I saw was really bright red and down from the moon and to the right and it seemed to just float in the sky and then it started to get dim and moved towards Antares and disappeared. Odd.

I made a video of it, but I don't have zoom on my phone, so it's very hard to see that it was quite bright and really red. I'd upload it, but I'm not sure where to upload it to. I wish I had zoom on my phone so I could have gotten the color of whatever it was.

Saw it here in Oregon City, Oregon. Was wondering what it was. Thought at first it was an incoming plane, but it never moved. Thank you for figuring it out and explaining it for me.
