I have not red the whole thread, but no matter how many times it is said an attack on Syria will not mean "boots on the ground," when international terrorists among the rebels inherit the chemical weapons no longer controlled by Syria's government, that will make "boots on the ground" necessary. Israel may just be waiting until the U.S. has "boots on the ground" to secure the chemical weapons in Syria and then the U.S. will have to do the heavy lifting in an attack on Iran. Nothing good can come from the U.S. helping the rebels. |

I've heard from my husband's grandmother her first hand accounts of the bombing of Rotterdam by the Nazi's, the disappearance of their German friends who were a threat to the Nazi regime either because they were scholars or spoke out against the developing tyranny. Oma and Opa were part of the Dutch resistance and smuggled out many a German citizen, Jewish refugee, or other refugee of the Nazi onslaught. So if this German person says he understands war better than we here in the US do, I, for one, totally believe him.
