Heard that too, they also said that 11 were stabbed.

Looked Hispanic to me.

Allegations that the assailants were associated with something called " brown pride ".

A brief google search shows that this is probably an Hispanic gang affiliation.

on another note in the 80s, we had stabbings happen weekly in the houston school i went to. Once in a while you would hear about a gun on campus, but nobody got shot that I know of.

I agree, seems to support the early reports coming from students.

I went to school in England and we had a guy expelled for bringing an air rifle to school. Not quite the same thing, but it came to mind.

Been a long five minutes and parents are getting more and more angry.

Saying it all started yesterday after school, where students could not even board buses.

Finished in cafeteria this morning by at least six in an unconfirmed gang related incident.

Seems a bit odd.

3 hours with absolutely NO communications from the school district.

Reporter on scene said he has covered several of these types of incidents and never has he seen this long without official communication from the school district.

That is what is making so many parents angry at this time.

When I lived in Texas Spring was an upper middle class high school.

They run drills all the time. There is a protocol. Apparently they are not following the protocol. Who is in charge? There should be a public relations person for the school district. There is a principal. There is a vice-principal. There is a superintendent. There are other administrators. They aren't doing their jobs.
