Consider the following:

1. As a Giant Example of the End of the world as we know it: on 9-10-01 we all were pretty much bugged by the Airline Industry's inability to stick to the schedule.

On 9-15-01 we were all very content to wait many hours for delayed flights. The old world passed away on the morning of 9-11.

2. Up until about the Second Century Rome was in power - Rome fell and the end of the world as we knew it took place.

3. At one time in not to distant past the Sun never set on the British Empire - the sun set and it was the end of the world as we knew it.

4. In the 1980's the USSR folded, the Iron Curtain came Down - The end of the world as we know it.

What I am underlying here is that the world is always ending - in our personal lives it could be the loss of a job (or taking up a new one), it can be a birth of a baby (Any Parent will tell you that their old world passes away with such event).

We live in a world that is ever changing. The world ends all the time, to be replaced with a new one.

The End of the World – totally will not take place for another 4 billion years (give or take) when the Sun swells up and turns an angry red and devours her nearby children (All the way out to earth, possible Mars as well). That is the ultimate end of the world.

Men are born, live and die. Empires and civilizations rise, then fall – earth abides.

The world ends every day.

We had an outhouse too, with green corrugated plastic for side lights. I got spanked when my brother took too long and I put my sword (real one from India) through the green plastic, didn't skewer him, but could have. After that I had to squat to pee. lol

In a short time the U.S. will invade Persia and it will reign supreme. Suddenly it will lose its power due to a coup. E.U. will attempt to fill the void of super power and will raise taxes to fund its expansion but it will disintegrate. Then the man of lawlessness will arise and rise in power through deception. Russia will rise up and attempt to overthrow the system but will be destroyed along with the remnant of the U.S.

In the end there will be the U.N and the A.L.(arab league) They will sit at the same table and lie to each other.
