I respect this discussion and the points raised, but I have a few objections.

I - anything which originates from Russian or Syrian officials, or is traced back to a state run or Shia backed news organization in Syria or Iran and isn't justified anywhere else I simply cannot accept as a reliable source. I haven't been able to find the "arms through Turkey orchestrated by Qatar intel" story anywhere where the sources don't lead back to propaganda. The Carla UN report thing is also being beefed up a little as she's never mentioned what the evidence is that it was the rebels used Sarin not the gov't, she just said there wasn't proof that either did it.
II - The Syrian rebels are fighting with balls of steel. It is literally men against tanks. I think that every last one would rather spend the rest of their days in an Assad torture camp than to kill their own civilians in a false flag.
III - AQ also doesn't have anything to gain from a false flag. They are doing ok against the regime. Why would they want the US in the fight? The only way it makes any sense is if AQ at the top level is secretly collaborating on an agenda w/ Israel/US, etc.. In that case why did they take 12 years off from helping The Agenda with it's false flag attacks and simply give up tens of thousands at the bottom and probably over a dozen at the top level? I won't rule this one out completely, but it's a very tricky one to be sure of and I think this debate needs solid answers that can be proved or disproved... you can come up with a conspiracy theory for anything.

No, Hastings death told them to shut up. Or they would be next. he was the example. An example they can't deny. the media is scared to death to tell the truth. And Hastings is the reason why.

I'd say it's more along the lines of the media is being paid handsomely (at the top) to spin the truth in a certain light.

But for sure, Hastings was the example for any other pesky journalists.
