I always dislike the vapid ignorance the news can show in crime cases. This wasn't about a sandwich, but about a power struggle in a closed environment. It was about the JAIL STAFF allowing one group of inmates to control the access to the equipment. Not someone starting a vast fight over a single sandwich. Thinking that way is so naive that it's nearly insulting. This also wasn't just an instant attack. There was likely planning involved. No one goes into a massive fight without planning. Not on purpose and this wouldn't have been sustainable without a mass of people being part of it.
