Imagine meeting this guy in 1945. Just returned from WW2 after taking a bullet to his leg and he would've wholeheartedly told you that the USA was the greatest country in the world. If you had asked him about Detroit, he could've told you about how it was "The Arsenal of Democracy" or the "Paris of the West". He no doubt knew what happened to Nagasaki and Berlin. Nagasaki had a nuclear bomb dropped on it, while Berlin was carpet bombed for years and then turned into the center of a proxy war between the US and soviets for 40 odd years. If you had asked this man in 1945 which city out of: Detroit, Berlin, and Nagasaki had the brightest future, he probably would've laughed and said "Obviously Detroit!". In 1945 Detroit was >90% white and was a monument to the ability of Mankind. Fast forward 68 years to 86% black Detroit. Financially, Morally, and spiritually bankrupt. Nagasaki bounced back from a nuclear bomb to become the world class city it is today. In Berlin, less than 30 years have passed since it was blockaded by commies. Imagine telling this man in 1945 that black people were more destructive to civilization than nuclear weapons or communism. Imagine telling him that he would die at the hands of two black teenagers and half the country wouldn't give a damn.
