Quoting: Occasionally Swears The thing is I'm currently unemployed so I can't. I've been interviewing and hope to land one with benefits within a month at most, but this problem has been going on for atleast 4-5 months now and was wondering if anyone experienced anything similar or has any ideas on the matter. I know lots of you guys are knowledgeable on all sorts of health matters, so... Thanks again soo much! |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 43033336 United States 08/15/2013 09:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | red eye with white stuff coming out sounds like an infection to me. No way to know i think if it is viral or bacterial without seeing a dr. Quoting: green_girl I hear you and looked into that, but I'm pretty sure it gets swollen due to the akward movement or apprehensiveness my eye has to moving naturally, the way it's supposed to or something. I don't know how to explain it. |

Go to the nearest emergency room if you can't afford a doctor. Or, take a chance on going blind - or worse. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 43166014 Agreed [link to youtu.be (secure)] I'M SO DEPLORABLE!!! TRUMP 2020! [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] On the day when the wagons come I just pray that you let me on Matthew 6:9-13 King James Version (KJV) 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. |

If I was a potential employer - I would not hire someone that came in with a swollen red eye and puss leaking. I would assume that this person who has not taken responsibility with their own health would also not take responsibility with my company. I would also assume that the only reason that they want the job would to be to leech on my medical benefits. I am making no judgement myself - but as a business owner myself I would not place you on the "first-call" list. |

It also doesn't "leak puss" in front of people as you said. It's more of something I notice looking in the mirror close up, it's not a lot of puss, but there's definitely some white goop that comes out when the pain gets bad and the swelling is part of it.. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41974263 Not really, like I said I've been on adderall though, isn't that mind altering? And like I said, stimulants (not doing adderall anymore) but caffiene, even too much B vitamins seems to make it worse.. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1625052 United States 08/15/2013 09:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You should probably get checked for Glaucoma asap because if left untreated it can cause blindness. Stress increases the pressure in the eye and certain up and down movements will also increase stress on the eye. Check with sliding scale clinics in your area. Some places offer free or discount glaucoma checks routinely. Check with your hospital to see if any discounted wellness checks are happening in your area. |

Your only option is to bite the bullet and seek medical help. Eyes are nothing to mess with. Working in the ER, people come in all the time with eye shit they have let go too long and unfortunately some have lost their sight and a few even their eye because the problem was left to "simmer" for way too long. The optic nerve is very sensitive to long lasting infections. It is what it is...deal with it. |

You may even need to wear shades inside to protect from fluorescent light as well. Also try decreasing your stress load- meditate or just lay around and listen to music. Try not to strain eyes much until you get the all clear. IZZY BELLE |
