I just worked it out.
The sick children in the bed are paraded around and then the big grim reaper tries to come and collect with his minions.
But they are staved off by lots of Mary Poppins with black umbrellas.
Notice those umbrellas all have bright white balls around the periphery, quite odd don't you think? If it was just for safety then you would think they would be colour matched to the umbrella, but no, in fact they are the most visible thing on the entire Mary Poppins characters, WHY?

The scene was clearly divulging something about BioTechnology, for what reason we can only speculate?
The balls were lit up so we could actually see the umbrellas, doy. If they were colour matched to the umbrellas they would have been black.
Well can you give me a better explanation as to why multiple Mary poppins were swarming the grim reaper and his minions protecting the children from death?

At the moment I saw the Opening Ceremony and the 7 chimney's with their polutive smoke, I thought that it might have been/could have been possible that that smoke contained viruses or bacteria which would react with the level of radioactivity on the site ...
The Grim Reaper [PHARMA] would collect his money and dieing souls as time would have done its work.
The fact that the lights on the Umbrella's were BLUE is also in line with many of the symbolism used.
