If they called the police, I think the very last think I would do is put my hands behind my back and yell at a cop.

What?!

The guy was right to have his hands behind his back and there is not, to my knowledge, any law to prohibits a citizen from raising their voice to a cop.

If the police detain you, or you need them in an emergency and you may be yelling because...its an emergency...please let them see your open hands. Just keep your hands in front of your body or by your side.

If you have your hands hidden, behind your back or in your pockets, cop can't know if you have a weapon.

You might not know people who carry handguns or hunting knives or hand grenades and attack cops unexpectedly, but he does. He's met those people. They look just like us.

Soldiers in formation have their hands behind their back when called to "ease".

People face to face with cops have their hands in view, relaxed and open, palms showing.

Remember that. Show your empty hands to cops.

Give dogs the back of your hand to sniff. Let cops see both palms.

Okay now, did they find anyone in the room since that was the reason for them being there? And why were they there, if any were?

Just watch the video! Absolutely no reason for what happened, especially by someone who was awarded "Community Police Support Officer of the Year." I honestly don't know what exactly a "Community Police Support Officer of the Year" is
