usually some smartass being disrespectful to the officer, you can't hear what the guy is saying but the police are human, when you push their buttons they can lose control.

If you are smart you just be nice to the officer, not act like you're some super cool johnny rebel standin up to the man. If you act like that and get slammed to the ground , I do not care, idiot. Police don't know what's going on when they get there, they have no idea, acting like some smart mouthed punk will get you that everytime if you aren't lucky.

How do you manage to breathe with your nose shoved so far up the establishment's arse crack?

What? Your daddy taught you that trick? He must have been another cop nuzzler.

Just watch the video! Absolutely no reason for what happened, especially by someone who was awarded "Community Police Support Officer of the Year." I honestly don't know what exactly a "Community Police Support Officer of the Year" is

yeah, we should all be grateful when we are not thrown to the ground twice despite being utterly non-violent ourselves. Even though we are human and do not react this way, we have to accept that police are human and act this way. I love logic.

The man being pushed to the ground advithe hotel to call the police because he thought someone had broken into his partners room. I find it hard to believe someone who requested the police could have displayed too much "johnny rebeattitude" in 16 seconds
 Quoting: clovis

I find it very easy to believe an old geezer at a nvention could have too much to drink at dinner then get all excited because he thought he hard people in his room. He's a Baltimoron. They work up into a tizzy easy. Indiana boys stay real mellow. They don't call for a SWAT team for a room mixup. You see the potential for conflict.

I can see an old guy from the east coast becoming obnoxiously aggressive to a cop if he's been drinking ans feels slighted.

Now look at his hands. He's got them behind his back. Asshat.

Cops need quick reactions.

Auntie Coward,

I saw a YouTube video of a cop throwing an old man on the ground and now I'm afraid a cop will come throw me on the ground too! What shall I do, auntie?

Gentle Reader,

When you can the police, strive to be normal. You have called this person at work. Do not hide your hands behind your back and do not be a shrill ninny.

It's similar to the reasons behind not pointing sticks at guard dogs and not welcoming combat vets home with late night surprise fireworks after a night of good quality cocaine.

Well, if you go to Indiana don't expect them boys to get real worked up because you heard voices. Drunk as you are you were probably on the wrong floor, or maybe those voices were...Jack Daniels and Sam Adams playing a trick on you.

Indiana hotel clerks are going to offer to walk you up to your room and check it out for you. They aren't going to call in a SWAT team. Not because a hotel guest left his tv on and got so spooked he couldn't work his keycard.

But if you go to Indiana, dont point sticks at dogs, hide your hands behind your back when yelling at cops, or expect people to be overly impressed with you.

In this case, the officer apparently embellished his report to make the incident look like... like, uhhh... a slam dunk.

I really don't think to much was pushed on that policeman, he lied on the report, that is for real. You saw the film, there was no pushing back by the guy, a policeman should have more control or should be taken off the force!

I have nothing against good policemen but a bad one is like a rotten apple, it make the whole barrel rotten. You don't shove a victim of a crime when you are there to investigate the crime. If you think that is expectable, if you are on a police force you need to find another job.

I don't see how I can help you. This guy was paranoid and hearing voices. Could have been tv. Could be he was outside the wrong room. Could be his room was double booked by mistake. Could be satanic druglords were inside plotting his ritual sacrifice.

I would let hotel security figure it out.

If they called the police, I think the very last think I would do is put my hands behind my back and yell at a cop.

Since when can be people in America be arrested for raising their voice or expressing their displeasure or concern about something?

The guy did not stick his finger in the officer's face, he made no aggressive movements, he had no weapon.

Even if the guy had been drinking, he still showed NO signs of behavior that would warrant that stupid officer's actions.

I must say I haven't watched the video on this thread or the other. It seems they are shooting to kill with much more frequency than I ever remember. People.. dogs.. deer

Is it steroids? Devil's Breath? Mind control via HAARP??
