I've never understood why blacks can't speak clearly. They certainly have the ability, as evidenced by many - intelligent and articulate blacks I've seen on TV. Before I'd ever seen these kind of blacks, I assumed their big lips impeded their speech. Then when I saw a black person speaking the King's english - and better than most -- on TV years ago, I was blown away realizing it wasn't the lips that were the problem. They choose to talk that way.
