Roids are an excuse its Israeli training companies, obesity induced diabetes and stress which are responsible coupled with too many vets getting the nod into the police.

Lawrence Payne, a spokesman for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) recently told AOL News that steroid use among cops is a "big problem" and that "it's something we shouldn't ignore." After all, numerous investigations have revealed an alarmingly high rate of use, including an investigation in New Jersey that pinned 248 cops and 53 firefighters with steroid use.

Nowadays, it’s not such a crazy thing to see a police officer go down for using steroids but it is rare to see them caught selling steroids. And, in the case of this crooked cop, it’s even rarer for them to dish out advice on how to buy and receive steroids through the mail afterwards. Police officers enter the force with every intention of doing the right things when they are given their badge. They want to uphold the law and also want to protect people from harm while they are on duty. So maybe being a police officer isn’t all that Hollywood makes it out to be as there is plenty of downtime on the scene. However, I’d be willing to bet that any cop who isn’t having a whole lot of fun at their job right now would rather things stay the same way than choose to take the route that Boston police officer Roberto Pulido did.

Roberto Pulido is an officer who recently received a lengthy 26 year prison term for being a major part of a steroid and hardcore drug distribution ring. He had so many charges against him that the prosecutors threw out a lot of the stuff like steroid distribution and steroid conspiracy charges and just went straight for the biggest charge in conspiracy to distribute cocaine. The truth is though that Pulido’s troubles were a long time coming even before he put on a badge, got busted for steroid smuggling, or gave what might be one of the most ridiculous court defenses of all time.

When I was in the military, same thing went on. There was always random testing and folks were clearly using steroids, but you never heard anything about someone popping for them. It only serves the institution if they're minions are pumped up and full of rage
