Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41264106 I have no problem getting into a lucid dream, in fact I get into several a night, but there are problems. 1. During a lucid dream if I move a certain way to which my real body is laying in bed, my real body will move and I am opt out of the dream and either in a false awakening or awakened. any one else have this problem? 2. Sometimes I am a little to light to where when I run it is like I am running on the moon (leaps). 3. My arms freeze up to where i cannot bend them, this almost causes the dream to fold on the spot; this causes everything to collapse examples: my eye sight will fade and my hole body will freeze up. 4. Eye sight will fade at anytime especially when i get close to an opposite partner if you know what i mean. Anything will help thanks. 1. no, but sometimes when I try too hard to have an OBE, I wake up, so I know what you mean. In a lucid dream, I just go with it, and it seems to work out well. 2. yeah, sometimes it's the opposite too, like I'm stuck in quicksand, but usually that's not in a lucid dream, that's in a regular one. In lucid dreams I can fly on command, and that's pretty cool. 3. maybe that's sleep paralysis or you coming back from an OBE too fast? 4. that sucks. usually lucid sex dreams are really vivid for me :) "We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time." - T. I use an anchoring technique whereby I grab something in the dream like a post, wall or other stationary object and focus to balance out and stabilize before I start exploring. Sounds like you are doing great so keep up the good work. |

Dreamer of Dreams User ID: 38137469 United States 07/02/2013 09:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Can lucid dreaming be an art from instead of a skill? When i think of skills i think of a person that can draw humans or animals really well or a person that can shoot basketball really well. Now an art form would an artist who can draw a variety of objects and an all around good basketball player. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41264106 it's a mix. some people are more prone to it if they're more open to it, but the more you practice, the better you get. everyone is capable of having them, but you do get better with practice.
