Immigration Bill:: why is compromise in this country, the land of the free, like a shackle??

Whether you are a liberal or a conservative, you are likely unhappy about the new immigration bill. Furthermore, both sides would probably agree that E verify is more big brother that will be placed on all of us as part of the bargain.

Naturally many conservatives are mad about any amnesty, as well as how this may all play out for Obama.

My answer to the question I pose in the title is that this is purposeful.

Immigration has been being debated for a long ass time now. Many of the problems with this issue, particularly with Mexico have been manufactured by our government.

The drug war:: Manufactured, costing billions, not winnable, not humanitarian, benefits corporations and the police state while stigmatizing populations and designs system of further control.

Benefits for Americans draws illegal immigrants:: Manufactured:: Could be way better managed:: this creates the problem in the first place. Its like moving water:: offer free stuff, people will find a way to get it. Now we HAVE to do something about it. And while we are at it lets make sure and corral the rest of America;:: hence E verify.

The new immigration bill is the effect of these schemes.

It is a perfect irony where an inadequate and pustule government deems its citizens and noncitizens unfit to be free.
