I always thought how wonderful it would be if our 'New World Order' turned out to be 'Star Trek' government. I never thought we would end up being the Cardassians.

I would ask you to do something very simple. If you belong to either of the major parties, leave it and send a letter to your rep and senator telling them why.

Also send a letter to you national committees telling them why. It is liberating and can, in most cases, be done on-line...If they see voters abandoning their parties in droves maybe it will shake them up?

You are absolutely correct; that's exactly the frame of mind that is prevalent in present day society. So sad!

Well yeah if you think about it the fact that DHS has been preparing for a war by arming themselves to the teeth with hollow point bullet and all of the nice fancy tanks that are now part of local PD's... how long before the order is given? Slowly some people are awakening to what GLPers have known for years... where is this going to lead? When the rest of the citizenry isn't being pacified by the media and whatever distractions they cook up? The emperor wears no clothes... so now do they keep the show going as they have, or do they shake things up? If they are obviously against us, how long before the crackdown comes to our streets? The whole world is now looking down on the US as a hypocritical bully, Russia looks like they're itching to give Obama an ass-kicking and China is like the Cheshire cat in this.
I really hope I'm wrong but soon I think we will come to a crossroads on our journey as a nation; which way we will go, I do not know. Either there will be a revolt and we will fight to get things back on the right track... or...not.
