Quoting: m&m's something does not seem right....which is why i agree with the OP in saying don't sign anything about this guy. he is no hero, but neither do i consider him a traitor (at this point in time, at least)...he thinks china is ok? uhhhhh..... and he voted for obama for what sounded to me like very shady reasons. he said, if you actually listened, that our governments may have beef but the people of these two nations do not dislike each other as the same with all people who are hoodwinked into b.s. wars and conflicts. So far i've read a lot of misconstrued paranoid hearsay about snowden and very little respect for the courage this guy has. If we become so far removed that we turn on the very people who put their lives on the line to protect us (whistleblowers) then maybe we deserve a government who destroys all the liberties we hold so dear. But is he a whistleblower? or is he a plant? There are legitimate questions about his demeanour. Heck I'm all for the likes of Assange and Manning, but I cant help but wonder if it just another wheel within a wheel? They've been doing this for a long time now, programming us to jump when triggered. Isnt it also good to not take things of this nature at absolute face value. Being an Aussie, I don't share the same patriotic fever that you Americans are born in to, and seem to be expected to honour. I meant none of that as a slight on your nation or people. It is one of the things that defines you as a nation, over other nations, but, it can and is used against you. (from my perspective) |
