You feel alive when you eat Brazilian. I'm Americian and know better. Brasil really is Gods country and can't wait to go bqck. Dont mind my small minded American counterparts they don't get out much. Rsrsrs. Valeu Quoting: RosesOnFire She eats a lot of red meat, and very few vegetables and I had to teach her how to peel an orange. No lie. She has a maid that peels her oranges. I made Feijoada for Christmas with four different meats, it was quite good, my own recipe...however, I rarely eat that much red meat, although I am a pork fan. It was delicious, sans the yellow stuff. OK, rant off.... You're profiling the cuisine of a continent-sized country based in one woman who can't peel an orange??? O U T S T A N D I N G!!!!! Well I am truly surprised that you do not think that Brazilian food is "elegant" cuisine. Even the ordinary food is interesting. You should have more faith in Brazilian food, after all even American eaters of junk recognize it has special characteristics. |

Unlike American catsup, this powder is overpowering and she is extremely liberal with it's application on everything, a half a cup per serving. Quoting: Pyractomena borealis Saffron risotto with shrimp, red peppers, basil and Parmesan .......yum....drowns it with this "product". Yuck. I tossed it so I don't know the ingredients. I believe it is a Nestlé product, but what exactly is it? FFS just because there are people like this in the US doesn't mean that all Americans are ignorant & arrogant twats. That would be like me considering all Brazilians coke heads just because some there do cocaine. Also, no, I'm not confusing Brazil with Columbia, etc as I am not angling at producing cocaine. I actually love Brazil, It's a beautiful country & I would love to live there for some amount of time throughout my life, but please don't start using phrases like "stupid Americans" and shit like that just cause this guy is a tool. Feel free to flame HIM for what HE IS. Also, OP if you're curious about something then it's probably not a good idea to throw it away before gathering enough information to do your own research. Google is a wonderful thing. Also considering that was someone else's property I wouldn't even fuck with it. If I came home and a my room mate had thrown my stuff away just because he didn't like it or know what it was he'd get a broken jaw. It's happened before & I'm sure it will happen again. Try educating yourself a little bit and trying new experiences before passing judgement or vandalizing OPP. Or, you're a troll poster in which case Professional Arborist.. |

By your description of the taste and the effect on the other foods taste it reminds me of industrialized/processed farofa (farofa = flour toasted in oil/butter). If this is the case then it's very likely to contain monosodium glutamate (in portuguese: Glutamato de Monosódio). The effect of glutamate on the taste is pervasive, and they put so much in industrialized toasted flour that almost all of the taste is glutamate, and it spreads to other food as well as you say. As far as I know all preprocessed toasted flours here in Brazil contain glutamate. At least the ones I have tasted. However I still believe it's another product, because as far as I know Nestlé doesn't make those toasted flours. |
