lol@ Shewow, but a transsexual superhero? Ugh. I consider myself a very open-minded person, but I don't like everything shoved down my throat 24/7. Imagine the things parents are going to have to explain to their children, whether they're ready for it or not? And yes, parents should be in control of what their kids watch, but that's not reality.

think of it... not just the transgender issue but the super-hero theme added on. this concerns me because of the way kids make their meaning.
one teen boy i knew was hoping to undergo sex change "so that maybe i'll be happy. i'm not happy with my life and i'm a boy. maybe if i'm a girl, i'll be happy"
magical thinking offered a hand...ah! with a real surgeons knife! and obviously that is just the surface of the damage that can be done.

ok - and i have advocated for human rights for people who are transgendered...so i am not as closed minded as the above may have appeared. i have high disdain for the manipulation of our kids!
