Honestly I view left vs right as a necessity overall. Without struggle we would have tyranny, one way or another. Problem is politicians are playing their own game while pretending right vs left is what is really destroying progress. Right vs left promotes the debate and pushes us forward. In a more perfect world their would be more then 2 parties that have views that lay in all spectrum but match funding is setup as a means to make sure it stays the way it is. Some states are making progress here though and pushing for public funding for campaigns. The point of office was not to be a career politician but to take a break from your current success given to you by the opportunities of our great country to help your fellow man. Right now though we have politicians who are more interested in whatever their big campaign contributors tell them while worrying about pissing off their left or right base. So they do as they please and tug at the hearts and fears of their base and promote a hostile left vs right rather than a respected debate that really needs to take place in any democracy/republic.

left vs right is pretty useless anyway. Seems that in every country, they have their own definition of what they mean. It varies widely depending on what is taught in school or how lives are run.

I'm not going to say its true in all cases, but for the most part, leftists do tend to be pussies who are afraid of everything and need the government to wipe their asses for them. And its no surprise...its a philosophy that caters to weakness, essentially preaching that the individual can't succeed on their own, but needs society to hold a persons hand. That's an ideology that breeds weakness, folks, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, because it gives people an easy out for their own failures. Its never their own fault, you see, because the game is just rigged against them. The best example of how this way of thinking can destroy a group of people can be found in our inner cities.
