Well, OP, I have followed this thread for the second day. Today, I said nothing, just watched.

But I would like to say before I leave that I am so sorry that you had to endure this situation. I hope they find the culprit whoever it may be and bring them to justice.

It seems that you lost more than "things" yesterday. You actually lost faith in mankind. That was a tragedy.

If I had implied my son, that was not my intention. I tend to
think it was a someone that is a friend of a friend of a neighbor, that is where I was getting at. My son was home that day, someone knew his coming and goings and a two hour window to do it. Two houses north of me the neighbors said they saw a silver truck with a camp shell drive down the driveway with loud music and the guy had light bushy hair, we know who has bushy hair and that is a friend of a friend of a neighbor. My son has made alot of mistakes, but HE would never cause anything this negative to his own daughter's house where she lives. I KNOW THAT!!!! she is 9 and she was with a neighbor at the time of the incident.

I know that you werent implying that your son burglarized your home. And I think it is sad that people were heartless enough to say that he did.

ALL children make mistakes but we as parents most often know their boundaries. It is rare when we dont. Dont let these people on this thread get you down but I have learned on GLP you gotta have thick skin.

You must be an amazing parent. If not, your son would have moved away and would have wanted nothing to do with you. I have seen it happen. You have stuck with him despite the challenges. That is being an amazing parent.

Like I said before, I wish you luck! Just continue to be amazing and eventually these negative things will turn in your favor. It is inevitable because it is the way of Karma.
