And last night we watched the mass exodus into SK from the DMZ... the last of the factory workers hauled ass back over the border, causing a traffic jam. It looked a LOT different than it did when we watched many flee earlier in the month.

Someone found a strange facebook page yesterday something to do with nuke attack in LA, not sure what that was about though. I think the FB page got taken down after someone discovered it.

They do this all the time. I can't get the online scanner working yet with your link, but I listen to them on my ham radios on occasion.
It is scary at first. They sound like authentication codes for a nuclear launch or something. As I remember it was a 28 number letter series. 20 or so at first, then they come back with all of them again plus a few. You can hear the difference between the ground station and the aircraft.

Yeah, the military is pretty neurotic about testing their comms. I know in the Corps the motto was "we practice like we play." So it's probably them testing the emergency lines... probably...

To reduce the static noise, click the "squelch" box. You will hear the codes being broadcast, but reduces the interference. It does cause you to miss some stuff though.
