I like gasoline. Mix it 25/75 with water and spray it along the exterior walls of your house. Ants will stop coming in.

Sweet n'Low contains saccharin

Equal contains aspartame

they used to put saccharin in diet drinks, but now it is aspartame.

saccharin is still used in sweet n'Low, but I don't know if it's in anything else these days.

Splenda is sucralose


And just a thought for everyone who goes on and on about this being poison and giving people cancer....diabetes or its complications will kill you much sooner than you will get cancer from this stuff....if you even do. May people consume artificial sweeteners all of their lives with no adverse effects... not everyone, of course. But it doesn't bother a lot of people at all.

People on here go on and on about all the stuff in the food we eat that poisons us, but we still live longer than people ever have. People would live even longer if it weren't for being overweight. Being overweight and smoking (and too much booze or drugs) sends many more people to their graves early than all the fluoride, artificial sweeteners, pesticides, and anything else you can think of combined.

I have tried everything from store bought ant killer, boiling water, grits, borax and a glass. They just move and make another bed.

Stirred the ant beds up, then sprinkled with 8 - 10 packets of sweet n low. This morning they are gone. Will let you know if moved.

I know a guy who is a chemist who has a brother who is also a chemist who worked on formulating aspartame. (is this good GLP cred's) Original brother always said stay away from anything with aspartame. It is bad, bad stuff. Wouldn't let his kids drink/eat anything with the stuff

You can also try planting peonies if you're in the right zone (they're fine with 3-8, so few places in US should have big problems). Even if the ants makes the blooms not so nice, they love them and will colony closer to the plants than your house. They don't feed on the plants themselves, only the nectar, so the plants don't mind - just leave the ants be and they won't want to feed from your kitchen.

They're crazy fast dividing perennials that last many, many years too.

Even if they only solve half the problem (spring season before bloom time might require other short-term control solutions), it's still, literally, a beautiful idea :)

aspartame is a fucking powerfull insect killer , the bees are being fucked bad by waste diet soda cans , one sip from a single bee kills a full colony , goverment is hiding that to protect the billion dollar diet soda industry ..

I was planning on stopping on the way home to pick up some ant poison. I'll stop by the waffle house instead and aquire some sweet n low. I'll report back.
