I gather you have not been in that part of the world. Quite simply there are too few rangers to cover thousands of square miles of bush......... and they are poorly equipped.

Bush roads are few and have to be re cut every year. Vehicles are few and far between, at least dependable ones. Supplies and fuel are very expensive to get and move in the back country for support.

The only cure to the problem is to get rid of the Asian market that drives this.
