Even then, after watching a few videos, then the one you posted OP, I'm now leaning away from vapor.

The amount of vapor that would have ignited would not have made such a loud noise, and it would not have had the intense Doppler effect that the sound does.

This is weird though.

It's called a pressure relief valve sweety. When pressure builds up from the Anhydrous Ammonia (which is a liquid contained in a highly pressurized tank) the vapor created by it in the tank will release itself through the pressure relief valve releasing it into the air.

As the fire continues to burn near the tank the liquid turns to vapor in the tank causing more and more to leak out via the pressure relief valve (which is there so the tank doesn't go boom in normal operating conditions). Mind you the fire was burning for quite some time before the explosion occurred.

Anhydrous Ammonia should not have water any where near it. It was in the evening storm fronts are moving in from the west, humidity in the air (which is moisture) made the vapor being released more volatile. A piece of flying debris on fire could have flew up in the air where the vapor was hanging and what you see in the video is what happened. It ignited off to the left in the cloud of smoke/vapor followed it down to the source and boom.

There are videos on the net showing how you can light a candle you just blew out by putting the flame near the smoke trail coming from the freshly blown out candle. To help you better understand how it works.

There is also some videos on Bleve's as well. The sound you hear is the pressure being released from the tank from all the build of vapor be it through the pressure relief valve or a breach in the tank happening.

It's hard to explain without drawing pictures but hopefully this will clear up that there is NO missile. The original video of the guy in the truck with his little girl was edited 1) because it was sideways initially 2) the sound was modified because it was extremely loud (I saw it when it was first released.)
