Why did the politicians let it get this far and then stop it, I wonder.

Crowd-sourcing may be good or bad for a document like this.

Ruling by plebesite has a spotty history.

Iceland is such a beautiful place, I too hope they find a way.

Crap. the leftist coalition with around 20% popular support tried to hijack the constitution. Broad support is needed to change a constitution. A few bunch of radicals tried to make a new constitution based on their minority ideas. They failed.

If you put most of the major decisions being made around the world concerning, finance, banks, structing of new world order to popular vote : the decision by the people would never agree with what is being done. Democracy is being killed.

On cue! Once the right are installed, Iceland will be brought back on stream into the capital conduit. The left will periodically make an appearance in the ebb and flow of this process.

I stand amazed at the way these forces follow through naturally. Fascinating!

Correct. Confusion is the name of the game. As a social system, we alternately swing between greed and charity, whether in the elite or with labour.

With Iceland and now Cyprus, I merely see bumps on the road to the globalisation of this social-economy.

We have to go through this process...it is the anvil that will eventually shape our collective consciousness.

I do not agree. The leftist government for 4 years gave in to all IMF demands and foreign bank demands. Its only aim to enter the EU.

Prior to this government, Iceland had already defaulted on all foreign banks but all local accounts where protected. Since then we are on schedule to compensate ALL foreign savings accounts investors 100%.

Lets try and summarise that. The forces of global capital, comprised as they are in all the institutuiions of trade, export and financial services, seek to draw countries into larger frameworks in the march to globalism. In the meantime, governments suffering the turmoil of Cold War largesse seek to undo the credit deficit by a variety of means in a bid to preserve trust in the system.

Some options involve the left in a bid to cap labour unrest (Iceland, Portugal, US etc etc.) Other options include the right in a bid to ensure earlier gains are consolidated (Germany, UK etc).

Once countries are reinstated after a period of left interventionism, the right make a comeback to continue the project.

But like I said, these are agnostic forces. You are of course torn by a desire to be relieved of this process and must go whither you want. Nothing I say will make an iota of difference.

The voters want a right wing government according to a Norwegian poster (deregulation will follow and the banks will eventually be rehabilitated...as minimalism government and free business is a conservative ambition). So I guess we lock up the voters, hey.

Greece: Solution is simple:
1. restore independence
- currency
- constitution
- borders control.

2. Regain control of what is possible among the assets that greek traitors transfered to illuminati accounts (real estate, firms)

3. Seek protection under Russia's shield from NATziO bombs
