You see my message, you think to yourself, ahhh hes a new ager, then you think of all the other new age messsages you have read or seen, and then you think that i share all of these belives with them.

There is NO new age movement. There is no group, no rules, no stated truth.

The new age movement is working the same way as the anonoymous movemvent, its just a group of people with huge variety of opinions concerning the same cases.

I am not what you have read before about new agers, i am just me.

When they have gone thru this, they will only find that they 'know' just enough, to not like what they 'know'.

Only then can the infinite be known, and one can be known by the infinite.

Human knowledge is temporal finite.
Infinite knowledge is infinite.
Become known by the infinite to begin to know thyself/finite.

You havent been corrupted by a movement, thats the main poin im trying to make here. You have been corrupted by single individuals and your own intuition.

Lets say that you and me had spent 100 hours each reading on the new age movement and then we would get together and talk about it.

Do you think that we would share a similiar opinion?

The sad fact is that we wouldnt, not even if we had read and watched the very same things.

Our old beliefs and thought patterns are very much used to percive incoming information. Your old beliefs and thought patterns could make a sentence into real stupidity but for me it could be the greatest truth.

Maybe i had 10 pages of information to back up this truth, and therefore it was easier for me to conclude it as truth.

But you on the other side had only a limited knowledge behind the meaning of this sentence, therefore in your head your interpretation would be very different.

Theres so much connections, and what im trying to talk about in this thread is that if you lose some of the connections that you dont need, that arent imporant, it will be easier to look at things more objectivly.

For example;

If i read a post by a christian on this forum, i try to see it from his perspective, and not all christians perspective. I cannot let my old thoughts about christianity interact with my reasoning when i interact with others. I want to connect with the person, not his beliefs.

Also i dont belive that people are not intelligent, i belive that there is no such thing, i belive it all cooks down to lack of experience.

Experience = Knowledge

Sometimes you have to pick the wrong bull, to be able to find the right one!

While the thesis has merit and holds many truths, it all hinges on the word 'can' for it to be so. It also doesn't have to be. It is but a matter of perspective and how you choose to see it. I choose the optimistic view.

Also, truth is subjective, especially when egos are involved. Only in the absolute is truth not subjective. And the absolute truth is: There is only 'one' and it is love. There is no other thing outside love.

I belive many people are looking and looking but they dont know what they are looking for. They have only looked on things from the outside perspective instead of diving within. They think that there is something which they have to learn, so they read and read and read, on everything and anything, but they never stop up, and just think from within =)

But again, we might look at this from two veeery different perspectives :P
