Re: DARPA funded - Wireless Sensor Networks - This will scare you
I remember reading DoD articles almost 10 years ago that, in placing sensors at corners of buildings, or even using existing high frequency WLAN-Type networks and complex interference analysing algorithms, that it is was possible to resolve the embossed features of a coin sitting on a table in a building.

I found that scary enough..

DARPA is all talk, no action. They promise all this fantastic sci-fi technology but they are just a pit for laundering money. Their bullshit technology never works.

The electric companies sold bonds on your future consumption of their product. They must compensate the bondholders or the entire finacial system emplodes.

But yes! It is pure bull shit!

ok.. i had my electrician show me
1. go out to the meter box
2. undo the screws but don't touch any red cable
3. undo the not clipped device (it uses a scissor like attachment)
4. put the bolts back in
5. throw away the 'smart meter'

Which "bible"? There are false versions and true versions. The true versions of the Holy Bible refer to the first "beast" and "another beast" in Revelation 13 as "it" or "its". False versions refer to the "beast" as a "he" or "him".

DARPA is a research projects wing for defence. They may be designing some kind of emotional sensor yes, but big deal it is not in active use yet, maybe in limited installations. No need to worry until you see them actually installing these things. This is no different to being scared about RFID chips, which are ALSO not embedded yet into humans even though everybod is still freaking out about it. Worry about it when things actually start to happen.

You should be far more worried about the gyro and accelerometer inside your android mobile phone which can fingerprint every human on the planet by the way you walk.

That is a more important SENSOR in my opinion, and YES it is currently in use !!!

Im actually quite intelligent thanks. I am well aware of Big brother and just how closely we are monitored. I think people would be amazed at JUST HOW MUCH BB knows about you. I also stay up to date on BB tech so I can teach other morons like you. But let me say this. There is enough truth in the scariness of the tech BB has you don't have to make stuff up. Now I DO believe the gyro/accelerometer is coming. I know it is even in our phones.(for example, an app that can tell your REM cycles, light sleep, deep sleep by slight movements it feels when positioned on your bed) However, the tech isn't quite there yet for it to id us based on our walk.

I KNOW that is coming and maybe their even compiling data from android users but it CANNOT ID people yet. (aside from knowing it's your phone and when you are walking vs stationary.)

So unless you can prove that, stop scaring people!
We have enough going on with facial recognition and smart tech to worry about.hf

My neighbor and I recorded one of our neighbors telling COMED they weren't allowed on her property...comed called the cops and we recorded the cops telling her she would be arrested and let comed enter her property anyway. Then my neighbor who was holding the cell phone was arrested for recording the police!

It's a lost fight already folks.

You should do a little research into a sensor network that HP has been working on...CENSE (Central Nervous System for Earth). They have been working on it for years now. Seriously; check it out.

Also, look into MEMS and accelerometers.

Wouldn't they know the meter is gone and just install another one? And eventually have you arrested for messing with their property? I mean, if you can remove it and they won't know and that gets rid of it for good, I'm all for removing them. But if that just creates another set of hassles, what's the point? Seems like the best way to combat this bs is to get off their grid altogether. Invest in solar?

good question, no, they can't get you for the property, because they made you buy it, so it is yours... they still have real meters in them anyhoos.. and yes, i've invested in solar to sell back to the grid.....
