Doesn't even cover 1% of 1% of the natural springs in Minnesota. If you are just looking for DNR ran public springs the list is still only maybe 1% of what is out there. For other states this probably works way better though, and I can definitely see it's value. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16249610 If you list the spring, how long do you think it will remain "fresh"? Machobird User ID: 3820926 United States 03/28/2015 01:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i swear there is a spring under the outer loop of I-485. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18401048 ALWAYS a wet spot there. It is always nice to see other people from the Charlotte area here on GLP. I used to live in Dallas and I owned 10 acres in SE Oklahoma which had a spring on it. It was famous and the locals considered it a spring whose water had good healing properties and would come and fill jugs. The springhead was in an old wooden structure with a pipe coming out of it with the spring water always running. There was a small money slot in the wall of the shed and every time I would go there, there was cash on the floor inside. Sold the property long ago. I now own a couple of acres just outside Laurel Springs near Hendersonville, NC that has a spring on it. This spring once was the water supply for 4 homes adjacent to my property, but the municipal water line, installed a decade ago, replaced the supply. The cool thing about this spring (pun intended) is it's temperature. On the hottest day of the year, I measured the temperature of the water flowing from the spring and it was 55 degrees F. Snowmelt water? Anyway, a person could capture this flow, run it through a radiator of some kind, and create natural air conditioning. Cool, huh? This property is now for sale. machobird |
