Have you ever stopped and thought about this: Where the HELL does all the money go?!?!?

O.K. think local-county-state level here.

Property taxes always go up, the mill rate always goes up. More tax money = more "revenue" as the government agency likes to call it. This will include residential, commercial, and industrial real estate, as well as all motor vehicles, and potentially all other vehicles which locomote.

Sales tax. Unless you live in one of the very few states which still has not yet enacted a state sales tax, you pay a sales tax on every item you purchase (except for food staples and in some cases- clothing under a nominal amount.) Many state sales taxes have risen in the past few years. More revenue.

Of course, the state income tax. More revenue.

Federal funding, federal grants, federally subsidized loans. More revenue.


Parking meters on city streets- revenue.
Special licenses and their associated fees and charges: from a Driver's license, to a license to fish, a license to own a handgun, a license to sell alcohol, a license to sell cooked food, a license to cut hair, the list is nearly infinite.

Whoops, don't forget about the payroll tax levied on every business! Revenue.


Now, police officers have a PRIMARY role now as "revenue officers." Don't believe me? How many "bad guys" do you think the average police officer, liutenant, captain, etc. collars each month, versus the number of speeding tickets/moving violations they have written?

Motor vehicle infractions...MAJOR source of revenue.

Whoops, have not paid your tribute, I mean motor vehicle registration??? Tow trucks with contracts with the city to cruise city streets with special license plate scanners and "hook em." Pay all the owed registration fees, plus penalties, plus interest. (nevermind what you have to pay the tow truck company as well.) Revenue.

Now, this is just all the stuff that is "above board." You would be naive to think that in every city and state in the U.S., there are kickbacks and sweetheart deals and "cuts" and "vigs" for no-bid contracts. Also there could be dirty policemen, judges, district attorneys, mayors, governors, etc., who are taking hush money and also payments to "look the other way."





Now....with all that GOD-DAMNED stolen wealth, I mean revenue....

How is it that nearly every major city, every single state is nearing insolvency!?!?!?

The cities and states can not pass budgets, continue to acquire debts and deficits.

But, where the HELL does all that money go?!?!?!
